Half Truth is a very well-done scenario. In the beginning, there are
several quests that are easier to complete; the quests get more difficult
as the game progresses. One thing common to all quests is that they
help
to further reveal the Half Truth story - there are no irrelevant "side
quests" - and many of them are essential to completing the game.
One of the best things about this scenario is its eerie mood. This
scenario gives a very ominous feeling that only becomes more intense
as
you progress through the story. The creative use of sound and special
encounters make it a truly unique scenario - I've seen things in it
that
I've never before seen in a Realmz scenario. A new tileset - the Glooms,
which depict a world run red with blood - are the perfect touch for
the
final quest of the scenario.
The scenario itself is not epic but you'll still need a couple of weeks
to complete it. The quests are not impossible (although I got stumped
on
a couple of them) and are actually fun to complete; they help to flesh
out the storyline and prepare you for the endgame. Its originality,
compelling story and eerie mood help make this one of my favorite Realmz
scenarios to date.

Skip Meier (beta tester)
Ever had a day when you could do no wrong? Every thing attempted worked,
everyone appreciated all your efforts... you felt that you were making
a
difference?
Then there were those days when no matter how much effort, care and
thought
you applied, that it was of no avail? Things went from bad to worse
anyway?
And how about those days that made absolutely no sense? Those days that
left you without a clue or glimmer of understanding?
Welcome to Half Truth!
With great graphics and sound effects, challenging puzzles and deep
plot
all tied into an immersive semi-Celtic world of conquest, adventure
and
evil, Half Truth pushes the creative edge out another notch.

Introduction:
There is no background for this scenario. You arrive in a strange land knowing nothing.
Style:
You will come across some unusual words, place names, and expressions in the scenario. Most of these are Cornish, some are Welsh and some Irish. I will produce a language guide to accompany the scenario in the coming months for those with an interest in Celtic lore and language.
