I hope you find something that sparks your imagination while you are here.

Hassle the Gift Shop to get some decent collectibles
(Don't tell them I said so, but that's another story)

or look for my Dad (George)
tinkering with some bit of Rotary Wing History.

My Mom (Phyllis) might be in the office doing the books.

My one real passion in life has been music.
Although I'm not a musician there always seem to be a few in my life at any time.

I don't know of any current Pogo sites - Please let me know if you do

Here is the place I will try to share my taste with anyone willing to listen.

I have long felt that the conventional datings of history don't make complete sense.

Fossil records of humans (or proto-humans) go back millions of years yet we are told that only in the last few thousand years have we become advanced enough to do other than beat each other over the heads with animal bones.

Author Graham Hancock and his wife Photographer Santha Faiia have travelled the world documenting sites and attempting to put them in some sort of perspective regarding date and purpose.

You may accept or reject their point of view but they make clear cases that all is not as simple as accepted current theories would have us believe.

Of course this fits with my personal philosophy that Life is always more complicated than we want it to be.

Go to their web site and examine the evidence (and current news items) for yourself.

I would like to add my voice to those calling for President Bush

to grant clemency to Leonard Peltier

who has spent a quarter century in America's maximum security facilities

for a crime he is known not to have committed.

While Mr. Bush is not usually known to overturn the courts,

the recent revelations about the FBI certainly warrant further consideration about the merits of evidence used to convict him.

In this obscure corner of the Internet, I have decided to unilaterally proclaim the
Death of Celebrity.
In response to the increasing silliness of obsession with the Famous, it is time to call for a moratorium on idolatry.
As a counterpoint I offer the first of a series of poems written by a friend of mine who died twenty-seven years ago.
The Poetry of Jim Conlin
